Born and raised on the South Side of Chicago, DeAna is a University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) alumna, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies/Pre-law. She later earned her master’s degree in Conflict and Mediation from Roosevelt University. With 10 years of experience working as a paralegal, she had developed a strong appreciation for advocacy, problem-solving, and helping others navigate challenges. A book enthusiast and passionate about helping others.

I am excited to join a Right Lane because I believe in the importance of investing in young people, creating opportunities for growth, and empowering the next generation to recognize their potential. Being part of Right Lane will make meaningful differences in the lives of youth and would allow me to combine my educational background, professional experience, and passion for supporting others to help build stronger individuals and communities.
